What is a bridge
Bridges are non-public Tor relays that aren't listed in the public directory, making them harder for ISPs or governments to block.
رله‌های پل، رله‌های Tor هستند که در شاخهٔ عمومی Tor فهرست نشده‌اند.
این یعنی ISPها یا دولت‌هایی که درحال تلاش برای مسدودکردن دسترسی به شبکهٔ Tor هستند، نمی‌توانند به‌سادگی همهٔ پل‌ها را مسدود کنند. Bridges are useful for Tor users connecting from censored networks or under oppressive regimes.
