من باید «torrc خود را ویرایش کنم». معنای آن چیست؟
The torrc file contains Tor’s configuration options. Most users should not edit it, since unsafe changes can compromise your privacy and security.
⚠️ Warning: Do not follow random advice telling you to edit your torrc. Malicious or incorrect configurations can weaken your security and anonymity. The default torrc provided with Tor Browser is safe and should work for most users.
torrc is a plain-text configuration file that tells Tor how to behave. Tor Browser applies its own safe defaults, so most torrc edits will either have no effect or reduce your safety.
برای راهنمایی در مورد پیکربندی‌های رایج به فایل نمونهٔ torrc نگاهی بیندازید. برای گزینه‌های پیکربندی دیگری که می‌توانید استفاده کنید، صفحهٔ راهنمای Tor را ببینید.
به یاد داشته باشید، تمام سطوری که در torrc با # شروع می‌شوند به عنوان توضیح [کامنت] تلقی می‌شوند و هیچ تأثیری روی پیکربندی Tor ندارند.
On Windows, the torrc file is located here: Browser\TorBrowser\Data\Tor\torrc.
Make sure to close Tor Browser before editing the file, or your changes may be overwritten.
On macOS, the torrc file is found here: ~/Library/Application Support/TorBrowser-Data/Tor/torrc
📌 Note: The Library folder is hidden on newer macOS versions.
To navigate there in Finder:
- Click on the Go menu.
- Select Go to Folder….
- Enter:
~/Library/Application Support/Close Tor Browser before editing.
On Linux, the torrc file is located here: Browser/TorBrowser/Data/Tor/torrc.
Close Tor Browser before making any edits. Many options won't work because Tor Browser overrides them with command-line settings.
